PlanBuilder Update Instructions

If you are using VISTA - DO NOT run this update.

1. If you are running version 3.6 or above - while at the Client Input Screen go up to the Help Menu and click on Check for Product Updates...

If you DO NOT have this OPTION under HELP go to step 2

2. Ensure you have closed PlanBuilder. Then click on the following link to start the download: http://financialsoftware.com/updates/planbuilderupdate.exe

3. Once the File Download window appears, select the Save option. 

Note:  If you have high-speed Internet access, you may select Open and continue with Step 5.

4. Select Desktop from the Save in drop-down list and click Save. Once the file is downloaded.

5. Go to your Desktop and double-click PlanBuilderUpdate.exe

6. Once the PlanBuilder Update window appears, click Update.

After that’s completed – Double-Click the PlanBuilderUpdate Icon...

This will take a little longer than in the past...BE PATIENT...!!!

When that’s completed – Open Plan Builder – NOTE: This will also take longer the first time you open because it is backing up and updating the Data...BE PATIENT...!!!

Now at the Client Input screen – Click HELP/About Plan Builder

Now the following should be:

Product version 3.7.2

File version 3.7.2.2

Install version 3.7.2.2
